Poster Guidelines

Deadline: Abstracts for Posters accepted until October 15, 2008. Please follow instructions for submitting an abstract.

Please follow the guidelines below when preparing and presenting your poster.

If this is your first poster, these suggestions are very useful.

Maximum Dimensions: 45” wide x 48” high

Posters should clearly state title and authors and author contact information.

Posters should be printed on paper that is light enough to be pinned to poster panels with push pins.

The information should be in a font size/type that is readable and legible.

Keep in mind that the conference theme is conservation strategies and solutions, and so we encourage you to emphasize the conservation implications of your project in this light in poster’s conclusion section.

Posters should be displayed throughout the conference. Please place your posters on the provided boards by noon on Saturday and remove them after 3 p.m. on Monday.

There will be two poster sessions on Sunday, and you are asked to be present at your poster to answer questions at the first session, at a minimum. The board of your poster will be numbered and viewers will find your poster according to the title of your submitted abstract and number as stated in the final program.
